• Farewell Summer Jazz Funeral (Oct 2): Kure Beach bids a lighthearted farewell to summer at Ocean Front Park & Pavilion. Expect a New Orleans–style brass band procession with attendees in costumes, masks, and parasols.
• Carolina Beach MusicFest: Island Vibes (Oct 3): Held at the Boardwalk Ocean Stage. A full day of live reggae and beach music featuring Ballyhoo!, Signal Fire, and Cape Fear Rising.
