Kristen is the General Manager of Pleasure Island Properties, located in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. She has over 10 years of experience in the vacation rental industry and is passionate about providing her clients with the best possible experience. 

She is an expert in building and maintaining relationships with both property owners and guests. She is known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and commitment to providing excellent customer service. She is passionate about her work at PIP because she loves helping people create lasting memories. She knows that a vacation rental is more than just a place to stay – it is a home away from home. That is why she is so committed to providing her clients with a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained property. 

She also loves the challenge of her job. Every day is different, and she never knows what to expect. She enjoys working with a variety of people and solving problems on the fly. 

Kristen is a valuable asset to PIP and her clients. She is a highly skilled and experienced professional who is dedicated to providing the best possible service. She is a passionate advocate for her clients, and always goes the extra mile to ensure that their needs are met. 

Jim is the President of Pleasure Island Properties.  He has over 20 years of experience in the vacation rental industry and is known for his expertise in generating and maximizing revenue for homeowners. 

Jim is a skilled property evaluator and revenue manager. His knowledge of the local market is second to none. He uses this knowledge and experience to help homeowners set the right rental rates and market their properties to the right audience. He also works closely with homeowners to ensure that their properties are well-maintained and in good condition for guests. 

In addition to his revenue management skills, Jim is also a people person. He is known for his availability and responsiveness to both homeowners and guests. He is always willing to do what it takes to ensure that everyone has a positive experience. He also makes time to meet with guests throughout the week to get their feedback and ensure that they are having a positive experience. 

He loves his job and the vacation rental industry. He enjoys assisting homeowners in reaching their investment goals and helping guests have a memorable vacation experience. He is also passionate about the beaches of Pleasure Island and loves living and working in his community. He loves volunteering his time in various community interests.  

In his free time, you can find Jimbo surfing and spending time with his family. You may see him driving around with his beloved pups, Shirley and Cubbie. 

Jennifer is a highly experienced and respected property manager in the North Carolina vacation rental market. She has over 20 years of experience in the industry and is well-versed in all aspects of property management, including trust accounting, landlord-tenant laws, and property management laws.  Jennifer also has a strong passion for and dedication to her local community, often volunteering her time and resources. 

She is the Vice President of Pleasure Island Properties and helps oversee the staff with their needs, assisting them in marketing, leasing, and maintaining the company’s portfolio of vacation rental properties. She is a strong advocate for her clients and is committed to providing them with the highest level of service.  

Jennifer is also a licensed broker in charge in North Carolina. This means that she is responsible for ensuring that her company complies with all applicable laws and regulations. She is also responsible for overseeing the trust accounting process and ensuring that all homeowner funds are handled properly. Jennifer has established herself as a trusted and reliable partner for her clients. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs Shirley and Cubbie (the company mascots).

Shirley and Cubbie are quite a pair. They are two very different dogs, but they are both beloved mascots of Pleasure Island Properties. 

Shirley, the miniature (but not quite as miniature as she should be) dachshund, is a low-key kind of dog. She loves to nap, eat fish skins, and relax. Absolutely loves belly rubs.   If she could, she would probably spend her days smoking cigarettes and drinking beer. She is the kind of dog who would be perfectly content to lounge around on the couch all day long. 

Cubbie, the chiweenie, is a bit more high-energy barky type. She loves to go on adventures with her owner, Jim, riding shotgun and listening to salsa music at a high volume. Does not like her front paws to be touched.  She also has a very strong love for meat. Anything meat is her love language. Even though she is a beach girl, Cubbie is the kind of dog who would be perfectly happy living in a tiny apartment in the city. 

Despite their differences, Shirley and Cubbie are both very loving and affectionate dogs. They are always happy to see their owners and guests, and they love to make people smile. They are perfect in every way.
